Just bought a big mouth scoop to replace my standard GU scoop with 6 x 10mm nuts to remove and replace easy as right? It is, except removing the rubber shroud with a steel retaining bracket that is clipped on with plastic clips under the bonnet.

Before I totally make a mess of it, I thought I would ask if anyone has experience taking it off first. I checked the Y61 Manual section and no luck, searched the forums and tried Professor Google.

I have no idea how to access the clips and so on; they appear hidden away.
So Pete, where did you get a big mouth scoop. I thought the guy had stopped production?

Just ordered one so if they are no good we can both blame Ropes.
