What has made you Happy today??
Next door’s decided to drop the huge dead gum in their front yard.
Council told them no they can’t, DSE website says they can, they had an excavator in their yard and got the owner to give the tree a nudge.
I got the job of the clean up and all the wood.

not happy, not sad.
seems like the log trucks are back on the road. it was darn quiet while they were away, at least it feels like there's some life around a bit.

It seems the price of even old Patrols is high atm. I don't know whether to be happy about it or not, because the resale value of the Q is pretty good. I am toying with the idea of upgrading to a GU, because of the limited towball weight of the Old Trol. I am researching RD28 blocks that have been built to take petrol internals and having the RB30 or RD28 head. This means having the same block with the factory turbo. There are drift cars running the RD/RB combo so it is doable.

Interesting thought Craig. Nice project. To me that sounds like there'd be a heck of a lot to consider.

Finding a good unit within reasonable distance, with a buggered head is proving to be a bit harder than I thought. I need to talk to Vicroads about it too.
