What did you do to your Patrol today!

I got a hot dog welded in today. I was looking for a median sound between my muffler and the straight through. Straight was way too loud, and muffler blocked out everything...
I think i achieved it. Hot dog gave me 10db less than straight through but still retained that 4.2 growl without the that harsh loud shriek sound. So far happy.
Side effect: The whistle was cut out big time.

OK never seen it like that before, so I take it the other end of the flange is only half on the pipe to get it to seal.

Did you think of wrapping the dump pipe to keep radiant heat away from your firewall??
I see the other end has a slight flare so it all fits together, very well thought out,,,,lol

The stock nissan exhaust has the same but on a much smaller scale

G'day Growler, did you get this from 4x4 super centre? Looks the same as the one I just had delivered & I'm pissed because it's only 2" from the dump to the cat.
On the site it states "full 3" system" & large diameter from the dump. Is it as you expected & how is it performing?

My 90-100 headlight globes arrived, when it cools down abit outside Ill remove my 100watt HID
and go back to halogen globes,

Thanks threedogs, Growler commented on another post that his was the same as mine. He also had a few other issues with the mounts.
I'm trying to decide whether to run with it anyway as it may not be an easy return.

I wired my Wholesale Automatics Torque Converter lock up switch module into the Transmission ECU harness. Not quite complete, need to finish it off and work out where I am going to mount the switch in easy reach. I just have it hanging loose at the moment as I ran out of time.
