No wuckers. Forum is looking really 'happy' and I've only been 'trolling' with a one or two posts a day. It's not getting 'traffic overloaded' since I cut down my posts. Once I reduce my 'trolling' to a zero posts a day, things should get super happy and quiet.

You've hit there DOM , when they opened here there were 2 hardware stores , one was shocking for service the other was even worse and didn't last long after Bunnings opened , I'm told that Bunnings had strict instructions to not hire any local that worked for either of these stores and with good reason .

Yeah I get what your saying AVO , it's up to the bosses how the stores run and you'd be right probably but employees are given training and hiding from customers , talking with your mates or on the phone to your mate while making the customer wait for service is going to get you on the dole queue.
Also selling an engine bolt to a customer who was told to get a cup bolt (because it's the same thing ) just to make a sale , I was always taught if we don't have it , can't get it or customer is in a hurry and can't wait for an order to come in , send them where they can get it .

Nah this is Eltham Bunnings, tiny mate, we don't have that stuff here.
I finally find the extrusion section and there's 3 shelves of sail track extrusion!
They don't even try to help you anymore!!

Come and shop at Bunnings in Pakenham (both stores).
The Staff are friendly helpful and make shopping there a pleasure.

I also go to Bunnings Pakenham, and honestly I've found most of them to be pretty useless - ESPECIALLY IN THE PAINT DEPARTMENT (used to work in paint so always good to go there for a lol).
I guess we are local to each other Bob!

Now that is interesting how we see Bunnings differently.
Good to get your feedback.
We moved down here in August last year from Bendigo to be near my Wife's Mother.

It could be me to be honest. I'm pretty useless as a handyman, I'll often go there with an idea in mind, a rough idea of how to do it, hoping they'll give me the feedback on what I need. I generally don't get anywhere and just wing it myself.
Let me know if you're ever keen on a quick drive or whatever. I'm in Lakeside.

..........
I am at Marla for work and about to head into the APY lands to program a load of radios at 5 locations and my laptop power supply has shit itself, extreemly pissed off. After what I did today my battery is about 50% so hopefully if I am careful and turn it off after every job and keep it on power save it may last the next 2 days.
