My knees still allow traditional shovel hole style, however have mates that swear by post hole auger holes below seats. Haven't seen it in action but reports were good.

What is the charge? Eating a meal? A succulent Chinese meal??

I've not done this, but was thinking, you could always dig the hole after the fact and then shovel the fact into the hole. Just a thought.

Made mine a few years ago - thought it was a one-off. Folds flat so takes up little space. And my grandkids laughed when they saw it, but were very quick to ask for it when we were out there. And I carry an old army folding shovel thingie that takes care of business. No built in paper dispenser though.dunnyseat.jpg

I take a shovel and bog roll.
Mrs reckons we should buy a toilet of some kind.
    I tell her that's a shit idea.
Mrs gets grumpy, doesn't talk to me for the whole trip.
    Bliss.

How long has the dunny seat lasted mate? When I knocked mine up I thought I might get half a dozen sittings before the plastic split etc.

Been in use for a few years now and no signs of any problems. I don't see any reason for a short lifespan as it is kept in the vehicle (out of the sun) and only taken out when needed to be a little discreet. And the plastic seat is quite rigid so does not bend when in use. I expect the old camp chair legs will probably be the first thing to fail.

Oh yep, your dunny seat looks a bit more substantial than mine. I got one of those thin flimsy things, that's why I have that wood seat as well.

What has made you Happy today??

    #Shedliving (if that’s the new McGoogle rage # :- )
Happily agreed the go button on this near new, very short ‘ex-gov-hire’ galvanised trailer ripper solution found today ready to plug in, wash & poop whilst attending to much much needed services renovations up top.

AS compliant certified is an insurance bonus indoors and it can achieve some told 11m of crud mulching pump head apparently which is 3 times more than what we septic need hopefully.

Not huge, but very well design thought out I believe and should resell for same if looked after UV shedded for a little while
