    Someone on the other patrol forum built and sold a tray that bolts under the filters. Not sure if he still does it.

    I leave the oil to drain overnight and there is usually not enough left in the filters to make any mess.
    Otherwise I loosen the filter, then wrap it with a plastic shopping bag before I undo it completely and catch the oil in the bag.

    Im lazy I just let it go everywhere, then hit it with the $2 SCA degreaser and hose off.

    I have one of these fitted to my GUIV and my GQ. They are made by Chicken on the other forum. is is a FIFO working and is on placement in Indonesia at the moment. Note sure if he has stock. You could try Matt at Pro-Deisel Motorsports on Facebook, he may have some stock of them.

    I rate it highly. I know Stropp also has one on his. Great bit of kit! They should be standard fitment.
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

    I also have a Chicken tray on mine, the only thing was I had to modify it to fit around the dipstick tube. But makes life so much easier.
    Mudski you really shouldn't let the oil drain over starter motor and wiring over time the oil damages the wiring insulation
