Anyway thought i might put up a bit of an EOI at this stage and if anyone else is keen happy to lead a trip in on the Friday.

Rossco the river is going to be your challenge at this time of year, think carefully about that final leg. I lost my patrol 200m downstream after getting washed off the crossing route, at this time of year, it's a fearsome river in flood. The Burgoynes back track is a mess but ok going downhill I reckon. The licola side of the river offers little obstacle with good tyres. Green hills track is a fair bit tamer from memory.

Apologies I didn't realise how green I was, or how my personal experience was of such low value. Comments duly noted, nothing further to add from here.

Doing run by myself. Heading down via Orbost, was going to cross over to Heyfield from Stratford but pepared to do the extra hour down to Traf and offer you a lift in if suits(Friday morn). Swag up on top if need be, that way you can definitively have the passenger front chair (bolted in). Your call mate.
Maybe someone else could help you out on return journey back home. All good, let me know.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Yeah did think about the crossing and assuming it will be fairly low considering it has been relatively dry however will need to assess when we get there. If too dodgey its not a long back track to head out through Green Hills / Cob Spur or South Rd. Yep it defiantly is rough and needs to be clear that everyone is aware of that if interested. Probably worth making it a locker only option or strongly advised at least.
