You & your beast will be fine Jonno mate :-) ! Please do teach the younger 'Cruiser' NSW mates (Top Blokes) how to navigate ruts in the valleys below :-)

Legendary
Learning to pick and drive the right line is something unteachable to many drivers .

Too true to many Rob mate :-) My bad though above, was just taking the piss outa young Chris if he's still about @rustynail ?
Young Chris was capable, albeit being a New South Welshman having had 99% of their tracks closed down for practice :-(
In total fairness of that picture he was 4th car out of a wet creek bed below and accidentally slipped the rear right. Mrs MB, kids and I were tail end Charlie watching a cruiser teeter back at us on the other side awaiting his rear right tyre to bead roll off :-(

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

With that sort of performance perhaps everyone should blow their beloved td42 up and go thru a rebuild!
