Nissan Patrol in Italy. Gday All!

    Hello all!
I have been lucky enough to find your forum and registered straight away.
I have bought a 1986 Patrol diesel turbo in the spare of the moment from a friend and have had great fun so far with it.
We are pomms but have been living in Italy for 12 years,
Well thanks for letting me introduce myself, I hopefully have attatched a photo of the Patrol for all to see/comment on.
I shall now search your site to find out what model it is…. bit of a quick purchase..
    Best wishes.
    Meakinelli

no idea why the photo is upside down.. its not a global position joke i promise

Its a 260 series Patrol, or an MK model. Its the Spanish built version of the 160 (MQ)Patrol which looks the same but the MK has rectangular headlights and the MK as round. A crank battery is the main battery to start the vehicle.

thank again for the info, I have just bought the manuals for the patrol on ebay, old original copies, Does that mean the 260 is just a 160 model with funny headlights?
    Sorry to pester.jm
