No winch mate but i might have to get one now so the cable doesn't go to waste, see if the mrs buys that one. Got all the crimping and cutting gear at work so ill just borrow that for now.

Not much in my rig.
Led bar, compressor, winch and the redarc bcdc are hanging off my main battery.
Second battery has the fridge, rear light , UHF unit and the main stereo.
Just waiting for @PeeBee s response to this

Mc4by, my photo is a bit of a piss take!
Re accessories I am a little over the top I guess.
I run aux ignition fuse boxes and also 3 aux accessory fuse boxes to try and keep the wiring neat and reduce the firewall penetrations to a minimum, as this is where you can run into trouble with chaffing and shorting wires, unless you use the correct glands to feed the wires thru.
Regards devices, Communications( 27mhz, HF, uhf, vhf amateur, vhf marine, Satellite phone, GSM phone), 240VInverter for power tools, coffee machine, power off for fridge, aux. lights for camping and driving, winch supply, various instruments like volt meters, EGT, water and oil temp. Its pretty busy under the bonnet and dash!
It important to remember to fuse all cables and ensure the fuses are the correct rating - they are there to protect the device, wiring and eliminate fires.

Where did you get the wire that you've got coming off the right of the positive terminal, looks braided?
