    Micks 4.8 GU

    Hey All,
I've been on here awhile and had a heap of different questions all answered by some smart cookies.
I love to tinker so thought I'd start a thread of different things I've done and will do.
I installed the below the other day after seeing it on Rockets thread and thinking it was a great idea.

Some other things I've had made or just bought.
Black widow shelf with checker plate and led strip on the back door.

A shelf my dad welded up the frame and I just got old security mesh from a salvage yard. Can utilize the space above the fridge now and just added some thin rubber to help things not slide off.
Also have another led strip on the cargo barrier which helps light everything up.

I've installed both rear and side awnings, I just find the rear one handy for coverage when using the rear shelf or just a bit of shade on the pit stops.

Had an ironman compressor and wanted to save draw space so took the handle off and put in the unused space beside the draw. It has a pressure switch so turns off if the pressure gets too high.

I fitted a whip am/fm aerial and disconnected the electric one as it was only a matter of time before that got snapped.

And now my most recent projects.
Fitted new breather lines today, just extended the front three from the current location and ran a new line from the rear diff.

Also currently making a new battery/fuse and possible inverter box.

Going away next weekend and still haven't had time to finish my wooden battery box. So I decided to move the arc one across to the other side and extend all the wiring, a job that that had to be done anyway.
Freed up a heap of useable space.

    Micks 4.8 GU

    Almost finished my battery box.
Changed the front switch panel to galv sheet and covered it all in carpet.

Not real happy with my Ali angle I did but it will do.

And organized chaos in the back of the car. Wiring up interior and exterior camping lights, compressor, and reverse lights

No problem mate. I've left the whole right hand side of the box open for that reason.
