What's made me angry today? Maybe not angry but ...

60 tonnes of log truck 1/4 over the middle coming around a bend on a narrow stretch of road doing 100+ on the way to work. Mentioned to him that he may like to slow down for the bends, but according to me I was the one with the problem. F'kn asswipe.

Pity you didn't have a dash cam mate , you could then rock up to your nearest cop station and let them see it .

Providing your gas mains are large enough to cope. A lot of people forget that.

Yeah unfortunately I'd have to upgrade the pipework from the mains to the other side of the house, as nice as it would be to have an instant HWS, the cost to replace the pipes doesn't make it viable........

@threedogs, good to read you in here again mate. I can't even begin to imagine what you aand your family have been and are still going through. But you know we're all here to vent to mate. Take it steady chap

I copped a screw in the rear tyre of the Commo this arvo. No worries I was 1k from home and the leak was slow so I drove home. I thought this is easy, I'll just pull out the tyre plug kit and I'll be on my way. Not so. The kit is in my Patrol and the Patrol is away at the docs. Bugger so I had to pay $35 to get the tyre plugged!

Mouse ate through my lights circuit....darkness til tomorrow. At least the rest of the house electrics work.
As I lay there looking up, taking in the spectacular view that was the night sky and the multitude of stars I asked myself, where did my tent go?
