Fabricated the new 4" SS snorkle, ready for welding out next week, might get it powder coated as well, black. Changed out the rear sway bar rubbers, stuffed around with flowmeter setup - looks like the flowmeters are the wrong range, so back they go.

I will stick up some photos when I have it installed. Currently tacked up and waiting for the welders touch to finish. MB posted up some shots of how Millweld rework the safari hole in the guard. I am undecided yet how this coverplate will look, so need to think a bit more. The millweld setup is very neat for sure. When is your getting fitted Rossco?

Prepped and painted the rear bumper where I had scraped the paint before installing the rear view camera. Then touched the wet paint, tried to fix it, made it worse. So what did I do to my Patrol today? Nothing really. Ill sand it back and start again tomorrow.
2005 GU IV ST 3.0. Snorkel. Roof rack. Awning. Spots. Welded I/C. Dual batteries & VSR. UHF. Barn door hinge extension. Roof top spot lights. Rear drawers. 2" lift. NADS. EGT and boost gauges. Trans temp and water temp gauges. Provent 200 catch can. Rear ladder

And crawling on the planet's face, some insects called the human race. Lost in time. And lost in space... and meaning.

Found the cause of my front hub noise @MudRunnerTD. The outer locking gear was jumping on the inner gear thats on the axle shaft. I remove it to find the outer gear not engaging far enough out when locked. only by maybe 2mm. So I pull the hub right apart to adjust it and the thread section in the middle where you adjust the hub is actually cracked.
    Warranty claim coming....

Slowly upgrading all lights to led, T10`s on the way for parkers, side indicators & number plate light. Looking at replacing front & rear brake, turn & tail lights down the track.
I might just hold off on swapping out my hid globes to these based on what you found. I reckon my hid' are great, just as illegal in vic as LEDs, - what did you change from , halogens? I have the globes sitting there to swap, but still not convinced. I run led light bars for high beam and they are great, running them at 28v, so just about nameplate output.

Cheap OEM copies. eBay specials. I'll see if I can get the busted hub swapped under warranty. But my auto hubs are a bit worse for wear, hence me buying these, so I might have to fork out the coin for genuine hubs.
