Clutch?? Sunk patrol
Hey all!
Had a bit of a mishap today, got the troll stuck in a rather large puddle. Water was just above the wheels, filled the inside of the car up with muddy water rather quickly. I was stuck for about an hour before I got pulled out.
Anyway, having a bit of an issue with the clutch I think now. It's going into gear ok but slipping once above roughly 2300 rpm. Only in 3rd, 4th and 5th though. 1st and 2nd seem to be ok. Any ideas?

More than likely the bellhousing has filled up with muddy water. You can take the clutch fork boot off and jam a hose in there and give it a spray. Make sure the water has somewhere to go though. Like somewhere to drain. I did similar years ago, learnt my lesson now and go around bog holes, cost me 2k in the end for damages. Clutch eventually came good, but was never the same. So I changed it out. The pressure plate was cakes with mud.

Take that little plug out of the bottom of the bell housing and see if anything comes out?

Thanks guys.
So I can see water coming out of where the rubber boot is for the clutch fork so up pull that off. Where abouts is the drain plug for the bell housing?
