When i finish my GQ i have 60m of 12mm rope to go on the himount. I will be using some of the excess to make a couple of 12mm Soft shackles. Very impressive.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.

I always use soft shackles in preference to solid lumps of steel. Unless you're having issues with sharp edges, then they're the safer option.

I really like the idea of one less projectile.
Too many lives lost already for a hobby that should be a happy safe day out.

Noticed ARB are doing them now, will probably increase the popularity. Look like a good thing I reckon, had good intentions of having a go and making a couple but never got round to it . .
