    Hi all,
    Pretty easy question
Choosing model for a weekend toy, not daily drive.
    GQ?
    GU?
    Other?

Depends on your budget. GU is bigger in the cab, and more comfortable to drive, but a GQ is cheaper, slightly narrower body, better for the tight stuff. Cannot pick purely on model. We need to know what $$$ you intend to splash out.

    What is your budget?

    What kind of 4wding?

Weekend toy definitely leans towards a GQ for price, size and lack of care for cosmetic damages.

Have only once had the pleasure of driving a beautifully rebirthed @Rossco GQ wagon up the exact same rocky track shortly after our GU wide body wagon climb.
GQ’s IMO too are a more nimble beast out there and do open up more ‘lines’ for fun to take for sure!

Cheers Markie, Yeah defiantly agree GQs despite their size feel rather nimble they're great for vision and get a good feel for where all the corners are and fun as to drive in the bush. Both great trucks but for a bush mobile I'd go for a GQ . .

Tis a beast yours Rossco mate!
As you know I’m not shy on shoving the GU ute through tight fun tracks although the panel squeals do tend to blackboard twitch my nerves at times :-)

All you need is a lumberjack running out in front to make the track wide enough for that pavillion you have on the back!!
