After purchasing the $50 pressure cleaner, which works well for what I'm using it for and has 3 year warranty. I saw a garden pump with a 5 year warranty. Went in today picked up the garden pump and a retractable garden hose for $170, hose is set up and pump will need a few fittings and lengths of hose from Bunnings as I want to run 2 outlets one to the front and one to the back both coming off the rainwater tank.

Does that pump switch off/on itself when it see’s pressure differences?

i have one already, bought a second today. the first one has lasted me for over 12 months, it puts out decent pressure although struggles with hoses longer than 25M(as in if i connect two 25m hoses together the water dribbles out, but that can you expect)

it has several modes, the ones i can remember are automatic(where pressure loss is detected and it kicks in, such as turning on a tap) then turns off when tap is closed and another mode is time (i think that one turns the water on at certain times of the day) great pump for $110
I got red dust in my veins.

Mark, Nic has pretty much summed it up.

I haven't been to Bunnings yet, so it's not set up.

Nic if you need pressure at 50 meters see how a pressure cleaner goes with it.

it works fine on a gernie mate, just no good for sprinkler, which is mainly what i use the rain water here for.
