Nissan Patrol PTO shafts - Want to buy

I am relocating the Hydraulic pump under the GQ and need a Nissan PTO shaft so it can be modified to suit - this is the easiest route for my needs. Would anyone have a shaft or shaft kit they no longer use and want to sell to me? I have the PTO, just after the shaft or shaft set I guess.

I seriously doubt a Nissan PTO shaft would be available anywhere. I used to use a mob called Melbourne Driveshafts back when I was in the truck parts industry. They used to make shafts by sample or to spec. I reckon this is the way you will need to go.

Thanks Mark, its more a spare part sitting in someone's shed I reckon. I can get a couple of universals blanched onto a shaft pretty quickly also, just trying to save some time.

Good luck with them. They are a different type of person there.

I had to replace a diff centre that I had managed to punch a hole through. I went down and picked one up on a Saturday morning, got home, they had given me the wrong one, rang them up they said they would deliver one out that afternoon and swap it over. They guy turned up and demanded $50 cash for going out of his way to bring it to me. He never go that pineapple.

OK, I picked up the shafts today and what a surprise. I ordered the PTO shafts and they supplied me with a complete PTO gearbox as well as they could not separate it from the shafts. Mind you the universal joints are completely rooted and will need new units installed in the yokes, but that was sort of expected. It certainly is a wild uncontrolled organisation. loose as.
