Winnie Saturday morning ,spewn i missed you guys and everyone else but lucky I missed it by the sounds of it. Went for a drive Sunday and ended picking up a Ute load of blow up things, tent and other rubbish. Markie did a couple of runs in the tinnie doing similar and saw a couple this morning in a f350 doing the same. Also passed PV with a big rubbish trailer heading in to start the clean up too.
Great spot was sooo nice I the water was so warm. . .

Bugger didn't recognise you. Yeah definitely lucky to come the day after this time.
Have checked over all our stuff and the one pole on the camper trailer had bent and a small camp table broken in half is the only damage we got, plus lost about 20 good tent pegs. Everything else just got covered in sand. Pretty lucky at the end of the day really.
All sand is now cleaned and will look into getting this pole replaced.

Yeah cool not such a bad damage report in the end it sounded pretty hectic. Saw you guys at the north end of the duplication on Goulburn Valley highway, thought that's a nice GQ then saw the camper and thought it was you guys . .

We are home safe and sound now to. Was one hell of a Friday night that's for sure. Never been in wind and rain like that ever before.
Stunning spot although the thick sand shows get to hot after a few days and so bloody hot to walk on during the day. Shade was the problem but afternoon shade was great falling right over @AB and our vans.
I had a great time met some more great members. Bring on the next one.
I will be planning a winter trip for cray season to echuca after this one. Few people showed interest so well see how that pans out.
Thanks all that come great company as always.

Would have loved to have a reading on the rainfall and windspeeds but we estimated 50mm within 60 seconds and 200km/h wind speed.
My wife and daughter were inside my camper trailer when it happened and when it started getting out of control both @
MudRunnerTD were hanging off one corner of my tent but it lifted us in the air and collapsed the tent, wife inside holding baby and having a panic attack. Bent the main frame of my trailer which will need to either be repaired or replaced.
Awnings flying everywhere, Pearceys was torn off the side of his caravan. MB's oztent rv5 annex ripped the stitching and was torn off.
As we were leaving we look at the rubbish dump point and reckon there were about 30 gazebo frames in the bin.
It all stopped as soon as it started and once we had packed all our gear up we drove into town to get a motel room but nothing available so slept in the car. There was a branch that fell on a car up the road, a branch fell on top of Darren's toilet tent, roofys toilet tent ended up 400m from where it was tied down.
Truly an awful experience, but will make a great story.
