2016 GU Series 10 Annoying Beeping & STEDI
Hello out there, would anyone know step by step how to remove/stop/smash to bits 😂 the beeper when the accessories are on and a door is open? Also how to stop the peeping noise when you're driving with your seat belt off (Very annoying addition when out bush)....I'm not interested if stopping either break any universe laws, I just don't want to put up with the beeping. I haven't had time to pin point the beepers, I've only had the Patrol a few days & I've been at work. But if it's just a fuse or remove a wire it will be handy to know. Cheers in advance. 👍👍
Another question; would anyone have any reviews - good, bad or ugly on the - STEDI LED DRIVING LIGHTS 8 INCH 180 PHANTOM CREE STEDI PHANTOMS RED or BLACK?
Thanks....

There is a single brown wire at the bottom of the steering column near the key.....
Take the plastic surround off the column, and disconnect .... pure bliss again....

All done, easy job. No beeping from the key in the ignition now and I also unplugged the wire under my seat to stop the beeping when the seat belt is off & you're driving. I never drive without the seatbelt on on the road but when you're out bush or beach driving sometimes you do have it off & the last thing you want is the constant beeping.
Just hoping it doesn't create any codes or faults etc unplugging either of them?
Thanks for the help 👍👍

No shouldn't cause any codes or issues. If the airbag goes off you know you got the wrong wire.
