Great idea about the aerial flag.
Size and placement are important.
I'd hate for anybody to have a crash, or have the cops involved in any way, because they couldn't see properly. It could get quite messy, and costly.
There would obviously be many uses for the flags, but I was thinking mainly for, in my case, ute street parades and competition judging.
For DX grunt, I was thinking about an aerial flag at the front, and a big Forum flag and an Australian Flag at the back, on broom sticks.
Keep the ideas coming, people.
Take care out there.

If you're doing flags then maybe also make some smaller hi vis jobs so people can use them in the dunes

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

So I take it you don't do flags?
I've already got a hi vis sand flag with a 12v light on the top. I wrap it up with a leckie tie when I'm travelling so that the wind doesn't desecrate it.
Hi vis NP sand flag isn't on the top of my list, but definitely worth the thought. Thanks.

You could do a few of those feather style flags you stick in the ground
Would be great at entrance to a camp site and visible for all to see as well
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there

Mego, please don't use your aerial flag at night - you might burn it with your roof spotties. lol.
