Never looked into it but do you need to qualify to have
an Aussie made sticker on your products

These days?... an account at the local print shop.
Well, not quite, but the meaning of 'Made in Australia' has been diluted to buggery over the years
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.

..........
Aussie Porta Spit
Made in Moana SA by a mate of mine and sold through some camping stores.
Unfortunately there are lots of cheap copies that are killing his buisness.

Yep, and there are about four different versions of the little green triangle logo that all mean slightly different things. There was a great segment about it on that show called The Checkout.

I pretty sure you need to prove your products are organic and are very strict.
The heart tick is a $50k donation to the fondation I think.
Years a go it was a little aussie flag, now it a green and gold kangaroo logo
in the shape of a triangle

As I said, there are a few variations of the triangle logo, all meaning slightly different things.. Made in Australia, product of Australia, etc. But none of them have anything to do with being organic. That is another label all together and yes they're very strict as they should be

All you need for "Australian Made" Kanga Logo is 50% of the cost of production to have been incurred in Australia.
A good accountant, deft use of a ledger and assembly costs can probably spin that to say 20% of retail.
If it takes 10 men 100 hours at a cost of $500 in China to make a flat pack of box trailer parts and 2 men 2 hours to assemble the parts here in Oz at a cost of $600 then the product is Aussie Made.
All you need for the Heart Tick is a one off licence fee determined on the cost recovery for the testing of your product.
The Heart Foundation is a Charity that raises it's funds on donations which is seperate to the 'self funded' Tick program.
Getting a Tick for your product by giving a donation would be illegal.
