My 2500$ 88 td42 mav
Start off with i had a efi gq that i wrote off clearing inlaws boundry fance line so half the goodies were already at hand. I picked up the mav in grandpa stock spec with 380,000, uhf and antenna and a 22" led light bar. Has eletric trailer brakes fitted and had busted air bags in the rear.
This rig is being set up for touring as i have been diagnosed with huntingtons desease and still in the early stages of scanes to find out were i am so a buckit list is being formed as i wont be able tour when it kicks in.
Here is a rum down on what i have done so far to the mav. Custom home made millweld winch bar, dominator 12000 winch, x-ray night vission hid 220series spotties, 22" led light bar, uhf antenna, front auto lokka, ajustable panhards, solid 38mm track rod, 33" feds mt, 2"hd spring lift with 30mm spacers, longer brake lines, custom sliders/steeps, custom rear bar, rear quater chop, small barn door jerry can holder, rear 22" reverse/work light, roof racks, 52" light bar, 2.5x3mtr awning, 3" stainless snorkle, oil catch can, roof console, uhf, sound systerm, custom made rear drawer systerm with 12v out lets, water temp and boost gauges.
On the way is a kinugawa 16g6cm high mount turbo, top mount intercooler, 3" exhaust, 4" shocks and window tint. Not sure how to up load pick from a phone im only new on here still.
I have a home built off road trailer that houses all our camping gear under lock and key that houses our roof top tent up top and were planing to do the cap in 2018

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.
