In my 2010 GU, the fog light switch is integrated into the headlight switch but no sure when that was introduced....

For my DRL's I used a 5 pole relay. So the DRL's work when the relay is not energised (and the ignition is turned on). The relay operates when the headlights turn on and consequently, the DRL's are turned off. The DRL's still work when the parking lights are on....

maybe those spare fog light plugs only work with
the Ti or GR and not hooked up on the lesser models?? lol
@GeeYou8 is right the DRL should turn off when headlights are on
