Patrol God
@AB you been doing Dukes of Hazard slides with the Levi studs in the rear pockets.
As for your temp I think Nulon have a product called Wetter Water it helps the water
fill all the corners preventing Cavitation. I had no end of heating problems with mt other 4x4 with the SBC
it was only after I brought the GU I figured it out, I sat on 110kph coming home from the murray on black saturday
ran like a top. Then sitting in it I flicked the VDO temp gauge and yep fixed it ran another brand and never had another problem
never got any return on the thousands I spent trying to keep it running "normal". Moral not all brand name gauges work as they
should,
as for the GU it used to stay at 85 on the hwy after fixing the head its
now running slightly higher compression and runs around 90 on a very hot day with air con on
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there

Been a while for a rig update.
I sworn never kings but here I am.
I destroyed my old mans 12v control box (electronics engineer) by forgetting to strap down my fridge and it smashed his box he built, sorry dad!!!
Anyways, I wanted to neaten up my rear supply and with kids and devices and caravan I want power, power I tell you lol
It’s a good solid box and looks neat but it won’t handle my output so some upgrading of lines but…it’ll be a good unit for years to come!

@AB, let me know if you need a hand with the wiring as I am an absolute wiz with cables and the old electrons and smoke release so we can start by getting rid of all the excess smoke right at the beginning so it will never bother you again. Happy to help, heaps of CAT 5 cables avail for your heavy current loads as well.

I had to upgrade from past times and a work colleague gave me his weaco slide.
It’s amazing using something that was designed for it’s purpose rather than create something that was half added Bahaha

2 B&S running to my rear mate. It’s hard to find good things after that without doing your own thing.
Hard to find good quality cabling boxes without spending $$$

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
