    'scuse my ignorance @Hodge...
Why the spirit levels? Are they to make sure the stubby doesn't slide off the roo bar, or do they serve a less practical purpose???

haha I'm glad somebody noticed. Car sits on uneven ground. 2 easy spirit level placements and a jack give me a rough even level of the car when filling up the oil. Simply for a more accurate reading.

Yes another fool in the sun all day, started on the hydraulic pump install, then moved to fix the airbags and then stiffen up the rear shocks, then started onto the greasing of the uni's and ended fabricating a mount for the hydraulic winch DCV, started at 8am, finished at 5pm, straight into the pool and the fridge from there!

Chucked her on stands today and went nuts with lanolin and CRC in the chassis (annual application). Also had a good look for leaks etc... Saw a drop of oil on one of the filters but could be residue from service. Degreased and will re-check.
Also ran the new cable front to back for the aux. battery. Bought some new Redarc MIDI fuses and holders.
Also found this plug (see pic below) all the way in the rear left quarter compartment. Anybody know what option this was for ? I'm hoping one of them wires was IGN to tap the Redarc DCDC into... Haven't tested any of the wires yet.

Got too hot 'n humid and gave up finishing.
Time for some xmas honey ham left overs and some cold Carlsbergs !
