2009 GU 6 Provent catch can install position

Hi all, just wondering where other GU 6 folk are mounting the catch can? As we have the ABS it makes the rear left side spot a tad tight.

I’ve seen some bend the pipe work to make room for the can/bracket but as I have no luck with mechanical stuff, I’d probably break the pipe and write the car off. Are they easy to bend in situ or do they need to be removed first.

    Cheers for any advice.

@Hodge should be able to tell you how to fit it
@mudski is a second, because of differing hose sizes you may need

@scarecrow73 ,post up a pic of where U are thinking of mounting it (point to location with whatever).

Did the CC come with a mounting bracket to firewall.

Currently have mine mounted on a angle brkt I made up and secured with ABS. Just lean on pipes gentle (A/C and brake lines) and move then slowly U should be fine.

A lot going on around mine..hahaha
