    I think it would depend on the pace of the crossing as most people have already booked a couple nights accommodation in Birdsville.

    As a guide, we chewed thru 30L in two days at Dalhousie, temps 30 deg but in and out of the warm water smashed us.

    Is there anywhere along our travels that we can fill up with drinking water..

    I'm looking at carrying 40 lts, if room permits an extra 20..

    Absolutely there is JC, I was just doing a funny Russell Coight thing. That is plenty of water mate and we have stops before and after.

    I’ll have my 50 litre tank and maybe a couple of 10-20 litre cask waters and drinking bottles etc, all good bro.
