Yes we bought one in disgust after lining up at Aldi to get one of there's only to find a shit fight at the front door and worse inside , ain't going thru that again .
Ours is 45 litres and works well , no problems and we've had it for about a year , we do have an overpriced ARB 60 litre but wanted a smaller one to use as a freezer .
Mine cools to -1 in 15 mins empty , I have fitted a computer cooling fan behind the fridge which helps keep motor and cabinet cool .
Only thingS I don't like on the unit are the catch and the controls and readout are at the back of the unit , still on top but my eyes aren't as good as they used to be .
I have also cut the elcheapo cig plug off and made it Anderson plug , the bugger won't wiggle out now .

Good mate of mine has the 42 (I think) litre version. He has used it quite a bit so far, we did find on the first couple of trips with it that the temp moved around a bit and then one day the temp went up several degrees. Turned out someone had kicked the cord a bit and it wasn't getting good clean power. We think the initial temp variance might have been the plug too, so as above we cut off the ciggie lighter plug and fitted an Anderson. Since then he hasn't had any issues with temp or otherwise. For the price he paid, seems like a good unit.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Wow that's ridiculous. That model is now superseded, the new one is exactly the same but has Bluetooth so you can control it from your phone.
That's a no brainer really, I'd go the waeco at that price any day.

Weren't a bunch of them (or their supercentre re-badged cousins) recalled recently because they were allegedly catching on fire.....

The Supercentre Kings had the recall due to faulty power cords but they appear to be fixed now. 60 litres for $615.
I just need to find an Anaconda store, that is a great price and I don't need bluetooth.

The Waeco CF40 & CF 50 were recalled too but they would have sorted the problem.
