Ran the hose from pump to spray bar for the radiator mist bar, ran the electrical cables for the pump - waiting on a new pump as the original turned out to be faulty, ordered a 70psi and 4LPM unit instead. Modified the 12v PS pump mount bracket to take the back-up 12V vac pump. Another couple of bee stings out of the way. Tomorrow I might have another crack at getting the rear sway bar back in place.

Got out and gave the ol' TD a 5k service today. Fresh filters all 'round. I probably say this every time, but mate, the mess after filters unscrew, devastates me every single time.
Even after a good degrease and clean up, the hidden residue oil making it's way down onto the ground hours later shits me. Makes me questions my self whether i've tightened the new filters enough and is the oil coming out from there maybe lol.
Beer o'clock now.

Fabricated two front winch mounts, used 16mm plate and locked into the chassis nice and tight with 16mm HT bolts in two directions. Big job for the garage gear to make but fun all the same. Needless to say i didn't use the crappy mig to weld it up! Unfortunately could not get the commercially avail mounts to fit as I have covered up the original mount holes and bolts with the Hyd winch cooler and the interchiller assy.

Off the cargo window ? Very gently. It’s just clipped on, but they’ll probably break. They had to get glued back on.

Oh, OK. I've been wanting to look in behind them. Do they run into the cabin or remain outside of it?? I've been thinking of running diff breathers up there if possible.

Not sure if you can get breathers in there ? They let the dust in, that’s about it. I never looked to see how big the holes are

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
