The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Just browsing the website, I find the B1B is a static display! Is this fair dinkum?? The B1B Lancer is The. Most. Awesome. Aircraft. I've seen in action at the airshow (I think 2013) and I would sit for a week outside the airport just to see this thing take off! When it took off for its flying display back then, my eyeballs vibrated in their sockets standing about 200 ft off the runway hahaha!!

    Cut from the website https://www.airshow.com.au/airshow20...y-aircraft.asp

    B-1B (Static Display)

Pity it's static only, but damn if it's there I'm excited!

Just heard on the radio an Antanov will be at the show. Crikey this is looking like a good show!

Hope it's the An-225! Phenominal machine. Was a static display at the airshow approx 1993 from memory and one flew in and out of Perth last year, probably mining equipment delivery.

Nice. I was hoping either a USAF or RAAF Globemaster would be there! Another very impressive bird!

Am a bit of a plane nerd!

Just looked at the website again and found in the fine print which Antanov will be there:

    Antanov VH-CCE

Hahaha bit of a difference between that and the AN-225!! Ah well, still be worth a look

Methinks the airshow man on the radio dropped the "Antanov" bombshell to get a bit of hype happening!
