Almost limitless options mate. Hard to find a shit stereo these days unless you pay $20.

If it were me I'd put in something with bluetooth compatibility for hands free and also for smartphone connectivity.Have always been a fan of Blaupunkt, Alpine and Sony.

Keep an eye on sales at Autobarn, SCA etc etc.. I picked one of these up for $150 on sale last month.. It isn't a fancy touch screen.. does everything i need and easier to wire up then the fancy multi players.

depends on what you want try to get a brand not made in china or tiawan alpine would be my choice kenwood and sony are not as good as they once were imo
I never go into the outback with out a decent supply of water,
and the general rule for how much you'll need is three litres
per day , per person, per man per degree over 25 degrees
celcius, per kilometer if walking on foot, in the winter months
dividing it by two, plus... another litre... at the end .... Russell Coight

I`m in a similar situation and was thinking of getting one of those VMS units with a GPS in it.

    Thanks for the feedback.
I guess I was looking for some pics of the install.
My stock unit seems to take up a fair bit of the dash area, unless I am not looking carefully.
I don't want to have a big gap once I put a unit in.

This unit looks as though it would fit the space nicely.
Did you need to purchase a loom to connect it to the stock wiring?
