    @Hodge yep used to get them like that all the time. Near on single warranty claim we had was because of low or no oil. Take it back and they will fill it for you if you want

    Yeah normal hydraulic oil mate. Used to keep a drum out the back of the shop for that brand of jack alone. Other than that they worked alright. I have still got one in the shed somewhere.

    150X150mm,90W@12V. w/ 3M PSA & Sponge, Keenovo Universal Silicone Heater Pad/Mat

    2 off 12V 90W heater pads for both fuel tanks, got them on ebay, of course.

    Fully down. Little tag that came with it says oil should be 5mm above inner piston in fully retracted position and valve open all the way .

    I thought you needed to buy special Jack Oil, even if it is just for the name.

    I spoke to my hydraulic diesel mechanic before and he says many of those jacks come with no oil depending on how they arrive from China. It's a maritime environmental Law some of them can't be shipped filled with oil and have to be filled in Aus instead. Or something along those lines .
