That's trailer is exactly what I'm going to buy.
I love cutting firewood but it's frustrating having to borrow other people's trailers and it does take the fun out of it.

Having a couple of months supply of firewood dry and stacked in the shed makes me happy but knowing my son forked out over $700 for the new chainsaw he bought me has me saying he shouldn't have .
firewood stack is just over 7 metres long x 1.4 ish metres high , just enough for a couple of cold Victoriastan months but we're doing an 8 week trip to the corner country and beyond from May so it will be while before I use the new saw again .

Nice one, that didn't take you long. How far do you have to travel to collect it?
It's really hard to find good quality firewood close to home here so we end up getting whatever we can and burning a shit load of wood.

About 70-80 Ks round trip just depends on where I go and when , never been to this spot before and it's only just been listed as ok for collecting wood , was hoping to get some red stringy but majority is gum or box and been down for years .
I try to get stuff that fits straight in the fire without splitting unless it's red stringy .
Son works for parks and knows where the good stuff is at and when new areas are opened up so that's handy , one spot near Whitfield has lots of big old box and gum down but too big for me to handle so someone's going to be lucky if they find the spot and want big stuff .
4wd is essential for both of these spots though which keeps out those who just have cars .

That's two fairly big 6x4 trailer loads and one GU ute load , but the ute has a massive tray on it .
