Was working the wee hours on this too. Think I started the cut around 6:30pm sunday "arvo" haha. I know I rolled in home at nearly 10pm sooo.... Was a busy day on the farm then back up to this log and then home.

It works well. Now to build myself one so I can punish it hahaha. I am chasing some parts for me old Stihl 048 to get it fired up again.

I do think of both you guys @mudrunner and @MB. MB I have been really naughty to you. I will schedule some time for it very soon. My biggest problem is transporting everything I need there. Might have to steal ya beastly van 1 arvo n pickup the gear from bayswater I need.

bahahaha its a tad sad I understood everything MB said there..... HAHAHA

I had that above reply sitting and forgot to press send and come back to a heap of replies lol.

Peebee mine site spec vs electrical spec is MUCH different. We have been going through it a lot at work lately. Mining even has a whole aus standard above and beyond AS3000 (electrical standards we work to).

Basically in VERY simple terms the gen can be hooked up. Has nothing to do with incoming as your not allowed to pump any pwer back into the grid with a gen.

So pending what he wants to do exactly with it, it can for sure be connected to the main switchboard but will need local circuit breaker to the machine and a change over switch. The MEN your talking about is another issue. Nothing much to do with the generator as the MEN link is in main switchboard most of the time.

Remote start might be very hard on this machine. Usually they need some sort of running pickup also to stop cranking. Eg RPM over whatever the startmotor can supply but it is possible. There are controllers out there but likely go over Markies budget on this.

Quick easy basic connection is not super complex.

I have actually been looking into it for Nicco to recently along with a setup for my own house.
