"Never under estimate the power of the tap, let it flow through you"
Milion and one uses the guys at JB HIFI use them when they modifiy or make up consoles
I love it even an air one would do.......$100 RRP
update on the up swept skinner,,,,Ive selected some streaky buffalo horn
cause I think the mosaic and the brass pins will highlight better.
Its a bit tricky as I need to shape it first as Im recessing it on the spine
and butt. After that it will have a bevelled edge on all sides.still
need a bit more sanding to shape it right, but you get the picture.
If ran out of sand paper for my power file and with the Patrol parked
have no way of getting to Bunning for more Grrrrrrrrr

Did a bit of messing around with the trackers on some medium density wood to see how the went with basic kindling, cuts through like butter and no change to the edge.
Will be interesting making a sheath for them due to their shape, thinking I may have to order 2 cheap sheathes and use them for templates
Going to try out on some jarrah tomorrow and see how it goes

That's a nice looking axe, where did you find that?
I use those sharpeners daily and they're very good, basically all I use now

Yeah I brought a few the day you told me about them,
boy do they vary in $$$ like those pencil sharpeners,
anything from $5 to $35.
The hatchet has an area on the spine a sort of anvil where
you can hit it with a hammer or such.
Ill find the link and put it here didnt break the bank either.
Ive found quite a few different hatchets as well to add to my modest collection lol
some japanese whet stone also arrived two green and a red/white.
the green are 4000 grit the ruby is 3000grit the reverse side is 10,000 grit
and shiny as a tile
All are very fine IMO
