I think the point thats being missed is that sport at this level is not a pastime, its a business, and winning has prizes and expectations. The guys are no doubt on performance based packages, the sponsors want a winning team for their money. I don't condone what has happened, and no doubt its happened before but gone undetected, however with the amount of money floating around for this entertainment, its turned into a case of win however you can, for all the reasons we probably detest.
The disappointing thing for me is amateur sports look up to the players at this level and think they retain the same passion and sportmanlike attitude that they carry into the game they love to play. Probably the players are miles apart in the ethics stake.

so the women don't cheat cause they get paid as much......ok then I will follow the women cricket more then,,mind you I watched nearly all the ashes games.....I do understand what you are saying..but ..they cheated..
