Yeah nice a hoist would certainly make things easier. . . Know I'm going to be very pushed for space in the shed in the upwards department, hopefully goes all right. Is that the new one in the background, looks like a pretty similar cab 4 a swap. . . What about quarter chop & guard trimming, did you have to do that?

It's identical. Mine was a 96 RX, this is a 97. I'll do the quarter chop again but I'm not going to bother with trimming the guards. I like the factory look.

Yeah nice, pretty lucky did you buy it as a car or a cab? Yeah do like the factory guards & flares just don't fit pesky 35's . . Cheers for the hand I'll let you know 4 sure looking forward to getting the new one on the chassis that will be quite a milestone i reckon. .

I bought it as a roller, no motor or diff centers. Everything else was complete. I'm having a hard time with the wiring currently but I'm hoping to get it running tomorrow. No worries, you'll be stoked to have it on.

Well the new body is ready for paint - YAY ☺ ! ! Looks like hopefully next week it can be done.

Ping Jing has been installed in the cab too, hopefully she's gonna be nice & sooth once all done. Can notice the difference, have done one quarter panel and ran out on the other, but if you tap the outside of both there is a very noticeable difference. Without sounds really tinnie and with it has a very nice dull thud to it. Just a word of warning to anyone putting this stuff in the foil backing is thicker than you think and once a few beers were down and all excited ended up cutting the bejesus out of me hands before i noticed 😕. .

Took the old guards off cut new hole in inner guard and made outer guard hole bigger ready for a 4 inch Snorkel. Trimmed and rolled the rear section of the guards a bit more proffesh than my last effort and fixed a few dings & chips ready to be painted too. . .

Old GQ is starting to look a litte naked - Is officially off the road now and in the shed. . . Gonna be fun pulling that baby apart ☺ . . .

Nah same color silver. . . Not very exiting could choose any color i want really, maybe hot pink. . . Did think would be a bugger if i picked it up and was painted beutifully in the red & gold of the new cab. . . Better make sure I'm clear lol . . .
