Bubbling Dash
Is Nissan still replacing bubbling dash under warranty?
2010 TB4.8, 5 speed auto TI Wagon, Beaudesert ceramic coated Extractors and 2 1/2 inch exhaust, 3inch lift, BP-51 shocks, Black hawk radius arms and drop boxes, Road Runner Offroad billet alloy draglink, Boss air bags, 295/70/17 KM3s, Redarc Gauges, GME XRS UHF, Autometre fuel gauge, Alpine head unit with offroad maps, Carbon winch, Opposite lock bull bar, Light Force Strikers, Safari Snorkel, Duel long range tanks, work in progress.

Typical for Nissan. I am thinking of buying another Patrol, but it has the bubbling dash. I wonder how difficult it would be to change it?

It can be done but finding a non bubbling one is hard and they are bloody expensive. Most people just cover with a dash mat

you can buy a full dash for about $700 i hear and 4 to 8 hours to get it done at home. Get a quote from your local dealer. they should have it down pat

I rang the Dashboard doctor, he said can't recover or repair them, have to replace them.

I won’t be hard to change over mate. Just time consuming. It’s circa $700 for a new dash. Depending on the purchase price and if there’s any added extras I would change the dash over. But I’m picky and like things the way they should be...
