    Warranty rules have changed a few times over the years.
    Originally it was only from original purchase date, but then it changed to start again from replacement date.
    I do believe it’s reverted back to the old system because cars like taxis were getting unlimited batteries. As a rule a battery lasts about 6 months in a taxi.

    The old battery I just got replaced had caps which you could open, they where flush with the top of the battery with screwdriver slots. This new one, I can't see any, but suspect they're under the big sticker on the top of the battery.

    Do these need to be topped up from time to time?

    I got the MRV70L.
