Legendary
Bought a Ford AU cargo barrier for the GQ for $70 , the fit I thought would be a bit of mucking around but because it was cheap and I can weld thought what the hey .
The fit is better than I thought perfect at the top , same profile roof , only need to make up top brackets as bottom can fix onto rear of drawers , will take some pics of before and after just in case anyone else is interested .

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.

Yeah it's amazing how good the fit is , I used the top brackets in the seatbelt mounts marked them and cut them , tack welded them and put the barrier back in adjusted the fit , removed welded the brackets on and only paint I had was black so touched up the welds with black .
Retried for fit and now I can't get the barstard back out , might have made it a bit too snug a fit .

@Yetisbeast having blue tooth does that mean the sound "could" now come out of your Double Din radio head set.
I was thinking of this blue tooth UHF years ago and now its finally here, might have to look into it a bit more

Howdy
From what I read it can work with a Uniden hands free phone car kit
The mic I was given comes with a blue tooth controller that clips to your shirt and you plug a head phone with built in mic so you can be away from the car and still use the UHF.
It also says there is an optional Bluetooth earpiece like we use on our phones
The instructions are very basic so I will have to have a play and see if it could be paired to my cars radio
