    Extend rails for front seats.

Just a thought. Is it possible to get extended rails for front seats to allow them to go back further. I'm 6"6 and not a great deal of leg space was just wondering if it could be done. And how. And how easy it would be to get engineer certificate for it? If at all possible.

    Cheers!

    Justin.

I vaguely remember the thread TD, but I think it was in a re-build thread....................... (old timers disease)

I know the Commodore seat bases dont go back as far as the standard Patrol ones..........
cannot remember if the Falcon ones are the same or a bit longer (not by very much)

alternative is a smaller seat on the Patrol runners............ - Tiida / Pulsar like that
Tidy Whitey - 99 GU TD42Ti - Diesel Gas, (GUIV Turbo & Intercooler 8Lb boost), 33" Micky T's Baja MTZ's, Dual Batt's, Cargo Barrier, rear draws, HID Super Oscars, winch, Grinch & witch attached and more goodies to come

i had the same issue - im 6'5
I had the whole seat moved back 3 inches
New seat mounts made and engineers mod certificate.
Was the difference between keeping the patrol and selling it for me.
Just too uncomfortable for long legged bloke in stock form.
Made a massive difference and like a new car to drive for me.

    Previous - 2004 GUIV 3.0DI "The Grenade" Literally ...
    100 LC V8, 150 D4 Prado, 200 Series V8D .... and a Discovery D2V8 in between ... what was i thinking?
