sooooo, well EEZZEE is no longer with us but have Frosty and I kitted it out with some new boots Pirrelli Scorpians MTR 285/75/17... they are pretty cool and at the right price....I know its a jeep but love being part of the patrol family. heres some pics
what a prick fitting that was. Might have to adjust the intercooler position very slightly and then get some rubber / foam to seal it. Might look at a fan for underneath the cooler too.
Pardon the dumb question if I've missed anything as I haven't been on here much lately , @sooty_10 did you fit a bigger scoop ? I want to do that to mine but still deciding which 1 ...... I bought another standard scoop to fit next to the original 1 but the original is not quite left of centre so it would be a big job to trim the side of each to get them side by side & centred - if that makes sense .

Yeah mate new scoop. Fitted a Colorado scoop on. Bit of grinder work to make sure it fits. The hardest bit and most time consuming part was lining it all up and double checking before the first grinder cut. First cut done and it was just keep going.
Thanks@sooty_10 what are the measurements of that ? I've looked at a few others but they're either wide enough but not deep enough or visa versa , & did you buy that new ?

Not sure on measurements, I have a 300 x 640mm intercooler w/ end tanks and it is wider than the intercooler. It is a little bit shorter than the 300mm core but I may consider options on trimming it or moving intercooler. I bought it off gumtree second hand with a bonnet. I got the bloke to cut it out with some bonnet left and brought it back as checked in luggage from the sunny coast. I have the bonnet skin I traced and used as a template for lining it up.
