Saturday Snow Camp - Donna Buang
Hey guys,
@jangbanger and I are looking at doing a Saturday snow trip up Mt Donna Buang this Saturday the 2nd of July.
Would anyone like to tag along? I don't think we will do any real 4wding, just an overnight camp.
Can anyone recommend any small camp sites near the top? We're hoping to see some serious snow!
Cheers

Don't think your supposed to camp up the top. You could stay in or near the rotunda but not sure if it's by the books. I know of some other sneaky snow spots if your interested. Pretty busy but i won't say there's no chance, i might head out. Only problem is just took my sleeping bag to the dry cleaners would be cold without it! !

Sneaky spots are what I'm looking for. It would be great if you could come along. We don't know that area at all..

Yeah would love to have a quick peek @ the snow see how we go even if it's just in the day. Back of Lake mountain / Cambarville area was where i was thinking. There's one spot haven't been but could be good. . .

That sounds good. The only issue is I finish work at 3 so it will be an afternoon departure for me

No worries, keep me in the loop. Can you maybe send me some more info on those spots you were thinking of?

No wuckas, was thinking mt grant which is just a little off shoot near lake mountain turn off (which is the one i haven't been up before) or there's a track which is good for snow if there's a bit around off cambarville rd. Think it's the first on the left. Another spot that's not bad is the other side of Lake mountain up the top of lady talbot drive although a lot of tracks are seasonally closed.
