Was thinking of installing a uhf next week, we have 10 days off from Friday (Vic plumbers union) and obviously can’t really do much.
Have already ordered a new set of spot ties, left and right camp lights and reversing light bar so that’ll keep me busy for a little bit.
What do you guys recon is the best uhf for around $300 excluding antenna? Was thinking this icom unit...

TJM BullBar and bar work, Light bar & spotlights, Airtech snorkel, tradie rack, blocked egr, 2inch lift on 33s and a 3 inch exhaust to go with it all.
    Plenty more to come!

That's an excellent radio in my books. I have the 400-Pro, bulletproof brand.

Icom 440 in both my patrols. Great radios. Military spec.

Tip for your lighting loom. Multi core trailer wire is your friend. Jaycar sell 15amp 7 core which will make you loom a breeze. Have fun.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
