Last few weeks we've had a bunch of rather big bats make home on the big oak tree we have in front of our house. Apart from keeping me awake quiet a bit, which I don't mind... But the big blotches of shit they drop all over the place is astonishing. Both our cars are white, and most mornings they are covered in it !
Do they just fly around bombarding the joint or something...
And I tell you what, it's a task washing it off! Or should I say, chiselling it off...

We had a bunch of bats living out of a hole right in the corner or our bedroom window. They fly into the crack at the speed of light, I'd jump out of bed thinking I'd see them crawl into the hole, but never once did I see them. They're like mice, can shrink to half their size.

Yes, they crap & pee everywhere, it's bloody disgusting. I went around blocking every crack I could find. In the end I got fed up and declared war on 'em.

Your bats sound larger than mine were.

Have you ever seem the daily migration of flying foxes from Studley Park to around the Hawthorn/Key/Balwyn area at night. It can go on for hours, 100s of them. We sometimes stay in a Hotel in Key on the 3rd floor. We sit on the balcony facing north and just watch them fly in at dusk, absolutely silent.

We stayed in Bairnsdale one night along the river and had the migration of bat's fly past, non stop for at least an hour, there would have been hundreds of thousands of them. Never seen anything like it before!

    Yep, horrible stuff!
Foolishly parked my old FJ55 wagon (white too) under a Fig tree overnight camp up at Mena Creek in the 90’s. Dinner and brews at the hotel down the road and came back after dark to find the old Toyoda was now purple :-(

Yeah pretty cool, there's a colony in Mallacoota that comes into town from up north when the Bloodwoods are flowering, pretty amazing to see them all head out across the lake a dusk for a feed . . .

How gloriously exciting air travel is for work I agree Plassy mate!
Zipped back from NSW last night having to assist poor young female cabin staff in verbally setting a yuppy cockhead straight before takeoff.
Somehow he thought that his ‘Aviator’ sunglasses would allow him to leave his wooden wine box on the floor of the safety EXIT row privilege he purchased with maybe Daddy’s credit card....FuxSticks are amongst us Good Folks :-)

Not angry, just bemuddled. Was walking the other day and a line marking support truck came along with a sign that read "Line Marking Ahead" I instantly thought, well if it's ahead of you I'd already have passed it.
Then a reminder went off for an app on my phone. I rescheduled it for 2 hours and it said it had "Postponed for 1 hour & 60 minutes". Why not 2 hours.
