    GQ Electrical gremlins

Hey new to this forum stuff.

    Got a question?
Have an 97 GQ patrol RD2.8 and my park lights, tail lights, number plate light, and dash board light dont light up when lights or psrk light position is on.

Checked fuses near footwell, found all ok. Not sure if any are missing as i dont have a diagram. But does anyone know whats going on or if they have had this issie before. Checked bulbs gound the end of glass to be slightly black, brought new bulbs just in case. Do have trailer plug and dosent look very nice to deal with. Anyone got any easy ideas???

Moved your post into the electrical section of the forum as you might not get many useful replies in the computer section of the forum

When u get a chance please drop into the introduction section of the forum ( link can be found in my signature ) and post up a little about yourself and ur rig.

    Cheers

I had the same on my GU and they are all on one fuse. Not sure on a GQ but someone will know. By the way mine was caused by the trailer I was towing crushing the wire loom sometimes, only when loaded. Hard to find.

Test the fuse holder for power.
My advice is: not to follow my advice.

With a multimeter or a light tester in hand, trace the power up the wiring loom from tail lights.
Or it might something as simple as the failure of the earth wire/wiring loom socket or plug on the main wiring loom that goes to the lights from fuse box
