Strewth! Lucky you woke up! I guess being in the annexe you had plenty of air flow? Folk have failed to wake up using gas heaters inside vans & tents, let alone the risk of being well toasted.!

I have an old chescold 3 way and it leaked gas out of the hose connection and that caught fire off the pilot light. The fridge was outside the door of the tent and by luck the jetstream headed away from the tent. Turned out to be worn threads on the hose , unit was sent back and repaired under warranty, but have never used it again on gas, just don't trust it.

Bloody hell mate, time to buy a lotto ticket.

There was that time in Killarney when those 2 young girls died in an annexe or tent from a gas heater.

I received a wiring diagram today that made no sense and actually would not work. I sketched out what i thought was the solution, and bingo, all good. i then rang the supplier and tried to explain to him that his supplied diagram required modification but he wasn't interested. I then asked if he has his circuit installed, and he replied he has tested '1000's' of these devices using his test bed and not a problem, so I asked if he could have a quick look at the wiring for the relay and confirm it is as per the supplied drawing. He got all pissy but went away and returned about 5 minutes later to tell me the test unit was wired differently to the drawing. i explained how it should be wired and funny enough, thats just how it IS wired. To that he started off on a rant about 'the chinese and the local sparky who wired it and updated the drawing - and funny enough, not even a thank you for sorting it out and letting me know - maybe he was having a bad day, but a bit of gratitude would not go astray - his voiced trailed off as he was wingeing about having to change his documentation etc - UNBELIEVE IT! It was a neg earth switching circuit, so a little different but not greatly.

Send one to me if you have a spare you don't need. I'll pay the postage. Tried to buy a bottle opener in Mareeba a couple of weeks ago. Amazingly none of the bottle shops had one & ended up buying a thingo from Coles ,cos it was the only one I could find. Takes 2 or 3 attempts on every bottle & I hate it. I've got one like yours at home which Harrops gave me when I got the e-locker fitted, but it's not much good to me down there.
