My chooks are well feed, they use 2 get free roam of the yard daily but they kept on digging up new plants and seedlings in the garden so have 2 keep them separate now, they still have a fairly large run and still get let out from time 2 time for a rummage around.
I sorta bred woodies ( Australian Wood Roach ) for my pet lizard and the chooks go nuts when I clean the tubs out, I also get Zophobas Morio ( Giant Meal Worms ) from a breeder up the road from me which the chooks also go crazy for.

Fairly easy to grow, as you probably know. When they do grow, the vine takes up a heap of room on the trellis.
