New member post 1998 ST 4500 owner

    Hi all,

I am 70 and never owned a vehicle with more the 2400cc. Now the proud owner of an as new 1998 4500 ST. Have had many Mitsubishi vans as family vehicles and lately as campers. The Nissan is to pull caravans. Tried taking it shopping yesterday and the i30 or bicycle is better.

I need to add some USB points around the machine as I am a hi techie user and USB is the choice for most systems. One for the Garmin GPS. Might add backing camera. Also need to add a power point for the fridge in the back section. Thus the need for a schematic.

    Best Regards

    Lee

Welcome to the forum. If you are looking to tow over rough ground, installing rear spring tower kits would be a good mod.

Fixed it for you @mudnut Mate
    Welcome Aboard Lee Mate
In my honest opinion Mr Nissan should’ve been held accountable for a rear spring tower strengthening safety recall of our GQ & GU coily vintages back in the day!

    Welcome!
Anytime is a good time to experiment bigger displacement engines! I have also come from a 2.4L engine, a Toyota 22RE 2nd Gen 4Runner. The Patrol was also my 1st diesel.
